RunWeather requires access to your device's location to provide weather forecasts and running conditions for your current area. We use this location data solely to:

When you search for locations, we store your search history locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to any external servers.
We store your preferences (temperature units, wind speed units, theme mode, running preferences) locally on your device.
RunWeather fetches weather data from Open-Meteo, a free, open-source weather API. When you use the app, we send your location coordinates (latitude/longitude) to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather information. We do not share any personal data with Open-Meteo beyond location coordinates necessary for the weather request.
We use geocoding services to convert coordinates to readable location names. These services only receive coordinates and return place names.
